7月11日下午，市委书记罗联峰在市“四大家”主体办公楼亲切会见沔商总会执行会长、江苏天瑞仪器董事长刘召贵博士一行，听取沔商总会二届三次理事会会议暨沔商大厦筹建方案汇报。市委常委、统战部长唐江平，市委统战部副部长、市工商联党组书记徐凌峰参与会见。沔商总会党委副书记、执行秘书长冯辉，沔商总会副秘书长吴全义陪同汇报。
刘召贵博士扼要汇报了沔商总会二届三次理事会等工作事项。一是原本一年一次的沔商盛会，在疫情时代影响甚大，计划去年召开的理事会也是一推再推。当前疫情有所缓解，酝酿已久的会议计划在8月召开，在此邀请罗书记、孙市长等市领导莅临。二是沔商大厦的筹建方案经反复磋商草案初定，此次会议将再次广泛征集意见，沔商大厦是天下沔商的大厦，一定要建造一幢仙桃市和江汉平原的标志性建筑。将沔商大厦打造成仙桃经济发展的重要增长极，力争多家上市公司总部经济入驻，打造名副其实亿元楼。
